History & heritage
First mentioned as ‘De Antravenis’ as early as 1126, Entrevennes was ruled by the troubadour Isnart d’Entrevenas in the early 13th century. The village still has a medieval castle, which was remodelled in the 17th century and is now a private residence, as well as its Church of Saint-Martin.

Built in a circular pattern on a hilltop, the village overlooks the Puimichel plateau and the lavender fields in the Rancure valley, a tributary of the Durance.
